Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the ArtNet Master mobile application ("the App") operated by ArtNet Master ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or professional lighting control purposes, subject to these Terms and any applicable subscription plan.
2. Subscriptions
ArtNet Master offers a free tier with limited functionality and a Pro subscription with full access to all features. Subscription details:
- Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Google Play settings
- No refunds will be provided for any partial subscription period, except as required by applicable law
3. Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period for the Pro subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription. Trial eligibility is determined by the App Store or Google Play and is typically limited to one trial per account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected through the App
- Use the App to interfere with or disrupt any lighting systems, networks, or equipment you are not authorized to control
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any part thereof
5. Network and Equipment
ArtNet Master controls DMX lighting equipment over your local network using the Art-Net protocol. You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring you have authorization to control connected lighting equipment
- The proper configuration and safe operation of your lighting fixtures and network
- Any consequences of DMX commands sent through the App to your equipment
- Compliance with local electrical safety codes and regulations
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. DMX lighting control involves professional equipment — you assume all risks associated with the use of the App to control such equipment.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ArtNet Master, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, equipment damage, or personal injury, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by ArtNet Master and is protected by intellectual property laws. The Art-Net protocol is a trademark of Artistic Licence Holdings Ltd. GDTF (General Device Type Format) fixture definitions may be subject to their respective creators' terms.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your license to use the App will cease immediately.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ArtNet Master operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
